Our Staff

The founder and chairman of U.N.I.T.Y Group Services, Inc is known as “The Good Samaritan.” During his travels for work, he met people who needed food, clothing, and practical support, and began using his own funds to help.

His belief that one act of kindness can inspire another became the foundation of Unity’s work. Today, he guides the organization’s mission, oversees its community efforts, and mentors board members, staff, and volunteers.

Appointed President by “The Good Samaritan” in 2007, Tanya oversees the day-to-day work of U.N.I.T.Y Group Services, Inc. She leads staff and volunteers, manages programs, and works with the chairman and board to advance the organization’s mission.

Her responsibilities include program development, budgeting, fundraising, and supporting board governance. Tanya brings more than 20 years of experience developing and managing nonprofit organizations and businesses.

Appointed Secretary in 2010, Sarah supports the chairman, president, and board by coordinating meetings, recording minutes, and maintaining the organization’s governing documents and confidential records.

She brings more than 15 years of customer service experience as a representative, trainer, and manager.

Appointed Youth Ambassador in 2016, Yada represents young people through advisory committees, task forces, mentoring, and motivational workshops. His work encourages confidence, service, and community participation.

Before becoming a Youth Ambassador, Yada co-hosted the Unity Youth Radio show and supported the organization’s activities.

Appointed Youth Ambassador in 2016, Yahir supports young people through mentoring, motivational workshops, and community representation. His work encourages confidence and participation in humanitarian service.

As Assistant Treasurer, he also helps oversee the organization’s financial affairs and supports the responsible use of funds in furtherance of Unity’s mission.
